The daily forecasting operation provides two-day air quality forecasting simulations at 12-km resolution for the East Texas regional domain, and at 4-km resolution for the Houston-Galveston area (HGA) and Dallas-Fort Worth domains, respectively. The dynamic boundary conditions are provided by the 36-km resolution conterminous US (CONUS) domain CMAQ simulations.      Near-Real Time Evaluations of Air Quality Forecasts in UH-IMAQS

To access large format contour maps of the daily ozone forecast that show the 1hr daily maximum concentrations for ozone, click on images below for local, regional and U.S. scales. Concentrations are indicated by color changes denoting EPA's Air Quality Index (AQI). Generally an AQI of 100 corresponds to an ozone level of 0.08 parts per million (averaged over 8 hours). Also note health advisory levels for your area.
