OZONE DAILY FORECAST The daily forecasting operation provides two-day air quality forecasting simulations at 12-km resolution for the East Texas regional domain, and at 4-km resolution for the Houston-Galveston area (HGA) and Dallas-Fort Worth domains, respectively. Concentrations are indicated by color changes denoting EPA's Air Quality Index (AQI). Generally an AQI of 100 corresponds to an ozone level of 0.08 parts per million (averaged over 8 hours).
