This project uses as input meteorological data and inventory data generated
by UH.
1) Meteorological Input
UH will prepare MM5 model simulations for the TNRCC “primary” episode
of August 25 – September 1, 2000, with back-up episodes of early and late
August 1998, and the traditional Sept 6-11, 1993 episode.
2) Emissions Input
Two different inventories are employed in the simulations:
• the EPA’s version 2 of the National Emission Inventory 99 (NEI).
The NEI includes the point source, area, and mobile emission inventory data
for criteria pollutant.
• the TCEQ Texas emission inventory, pto2n2 case.
